abstract A magnolol extraction method and a product thereof relate to a magnolol extraction method, in particular to a subcritical magnolol extraction method. The method comprises the following steps: preparing materials: pulverizing one or more of cortex Magnolia officinalis bark, root bark, branch bark, and leaves; feeding: pouring the crushed raw materials into an extraction kettle, and then pouring a solvent into the extraction kettle; and (3) extraction: controlling the pressure of the extraction kettle to be 0.1-2MPa, the temperature to be 30-80 ℃ and the time to be 1-3 hours; separating, namely pumping the extracted solvent into a separation kettle for vacuum separation; drying, drying the separated extract to obtain magnolol. The bark, the root and the leaves can be comprehensively utilized, and the sustainable development is facilitated; the extraction rate reaches more than 85 percent, and the content of magnolol in the extract reaches about 65 percent; effectively preventing the oxidation and the dissipation of heat-sensitive substances; can maintain all components of medicinal plants; the product is subjected to capacity removal treatment, and basically has no solvent residue; the organic solvent is recycled, which is beneficial to environmental protection.
