abstract | The invention discloses a method for improving the content of artemisinin in artemisia apiacea, wherein Farnesyl Pyrophosphate Synthase (FPS) gene and arteannualdehyde delta 11(13) double-bond reductase DBR2 gene are co-transformed into the artemisia apiacea. Determining the content of artemisinin in the sweet wormwood herb by a high performance liquid chromatography-evaporative light scattering detector, and screening to obtain a transgenic sweet wormwood herb plant with increased artemisinin content. The content of artemisinin in the transgenic southernwood obtained by the invention is obviously improved and reaches 3.36 times of that of a non-transformed control plant at most. |
