titleOfInvention | Innovomycin biosynthetic gene cluster and its application |
abstract | The invention discloses a biosynthetic gene cluster of innovomycin, the nucleotide sequence of the gene cluster is shown in SEQ ID No. 1, named cxm; it contains 10 genes involved in the biosynthesis of innovomycin encoding , 7 of which are genes related to biosynthesis, 1 is a regulatory gene, 1 is a resistance gene, and 1 is a transport gene, and the nucleotide sequences of the genes are as shown in SEQ ID No.2 to SEQ ID No.11 Show. The gene function was verified by heterologous expression combined with gene in-frame deletion assay. The present invention also discloses the application of the gene cluster or the expressed encoded protein thereof in catalyzing the synthesis of innovomycin or its analogs, thereby realizing the biosynthesis of innovomycin. The genes and their proteins provided by the present invention can also be used to find and discover compounds or genes and proteins that can be used in medicine, industry or agriculture. |
