abstract | The invention discloses a method for producing xylonic acid by using Klebsiella pneumoniae. The Klebsiella pneumoniae can convert xylose into xylonic acid under aerobic condition by taking xylose as a raw material. Furthermore, the conversion rate from xylose to xylonic acid can be improved by converting xylose into xylonic acid by utilizing Klebsiella pneumoniae inactivated by gluconate dehydrogenase. Further, by utilizing a two-stage fermentation method, the fermentation liquor is maintained in a neutral pH condition in the first stage of fermentation, and the fermentation liquor is in an acidic fermentation condition in the second stage of fermentation, so that the xylonic acid is produced by fermentation, and the xylonic acid has higher substrate conversion rate, higher production intensity and higher final product concentration. The mixture of glucose and xylose is used as raw material to produce gluconic acid and xylonic acid simultaneously. |
