abstract | The invention provides a preparation method of alpha-phenethyl alcohol. The preparation method of the alpha-phenethyl alcohol comprises the following steps: adding raw materials of acetophenone, solvent water and a catalyst into a reactor, wherein the catalyst is a supported cobalt-based catalyst or a supported copper-based catalyst; sealing the reactor and replacing with nitrogen and hydrogen respectively three times; providing a hydrogen source, controlling the pressure in the reactor to be 0.50-3 MPa, controlling the stirring speed to be 500-1000 r/min, reacting for 2-10 hours at 70-120 ℃, and obtaining the alpha-phenethyl alcohol through one-step reaction. The alpha-phenethyl alcohol prepared by the process has the advantages of high conversion rate and high selectivity, and the water is used as a solvent, so that the process is free from environmental pollution and greatly improves the industrial feasibility. |
