abstract The invention discloses a power distribution box body base material and a box body production method, relates to the field of the box body material of the power distribution box and aims to solve the defects of no flame resistance and high cost of the existing power distribution box body. The power distribution box body base material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 50-80 parts of raw rubber, 6-12 parts of a processing aid, 5-10 parts of a radiation sensitizer, 10-20 parts of a fire retardant and 2-8 parts of a carbon black filler. The produced box body plate is made of C-C bonds, heat resistance and oxidation resistance of the plate are improved; the components of the box body base material do not contain the components such as sulfur and antioxidant and the like with unstable properties; the overall property of the box body base materials is stable; the produced box body has high mechanical strength and also has flame-retardant property.
