The present invention relates to antibacterial and antimycobacterial pharmaceutical compounds of formula I. It also relates to pharmaceutical formulations of antibacterial drug compounds. It also relates to the use of derivatives in the treatment of bacterial infections and methods of treatment of bacterial infections. The present invention also relates to antibacterial drug compounds capable of treating bacterial infections that are currently difficult to treat with existing drug compounds, such as bacterial infections caused by drug-resistant bacteria or strains of drug-resistant mycobacteria. |
