A head-mounted respiratory assist device configured to provide a respiratory airflow to a user. The head mounted breathing assistance device has a body that can be secured to a user's head and a blower unit operable to generate a pressurized air flow from a gas supply from the surrounding atmosphere. A patient interface is provided on the body, the patient interface has an air inlet fluidly connected to the blower unit, and is configured to deliver pressurized gas to the nose and/or mouth of a user. |
