abstract | The invention relates to an application of OsARD1 gene in enhancing rice salt tolerance. The nucleotide sequence of the OsARD1 gene is SEQ ID No.1, and the amino acid sequence encoded by OsARD1 is SEQ ID No.2. According to the experimental results of the present invention, it is found that high-salt stress can induce the expression of OsARD1 . We further constructed an overexpression vector of OsARD1 and obtained its overexpression plants, and found that overexpression of OsARD1 enhanced the ability of rice to tolerate salt stress. The invention is of great significance for establishing a high-efficiency salt-tolerant molecular design theory and technical system for rice, cultivating new salt-tolerant rice varieties, thereby effectively utilizing a large area of saline-alkali land, and ensuring people's food security and sustainable agricultural development. |
