abstract | The present invention provides a toner for developing electrostatic images that has an excellent balance between low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage stability, is also good in conveyance stability and printing durability, and generates less fog in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment. The toner for developing electrostatic images of the present invention contains colored resin particles and an external additive, wherein the colored resin particles contain a binder resin and a colorant, and the external additive contains 100 parts by mass of the colored resin particles relative to 100 parts by mass of the colored resin particles. 0.5 parts by mass to 3.0 parts by mass of silica fine particles having a hydrophobicity of 15% to 49% after being left to stand at high temperature and high humidity. |
