titleOfInvention | Humanoid Robots with Collision Avoidance and Trajectory Recovery Capabilities |
abstract | The present invention relates to a humanoid robot that can move by its lower limbs to perform trajectories. According to the invention, the robot is able to detect, from its speed, the intrusion of obstacles in the safety zone defined around its body. Preferably, when a robot executes a predetermined trajectory (eg, part of a choreography), a robot that avoids a collision with an obstacle will return to its original trajectory after avoiding the obstacle. Adapt the trajectory and velocity of the reentry robot so that it resynchronizes with the initial trajectory. Advantageously, the speed of the joints in the upper part of the robot is adapted in case the distance to the obstacle decreases below a preset minimum value. In addition, the joint is stopped in the event that the upper member is predicted to collide with an obstacle. |
