abstract The invention discloses a titanium dioxide and polyethylene dual-coated calcium carbonate inorganic filler and a production method thereof. The titanium dioxide and polyethylene dual-coated calcium carbonate inorganic filler is produced from, by weight, 40-50 parts of calcium oxide, a proper amount of CO2, 5-10 parts of acetylacetone, 6-12 parts of sodium stearate, 15-25 parts of butyl titanate, 25-35 parts of polyethylene resin, 8-12 parts of dimethicone and 200-250 parts of deionized water. Calcium carbonate powder is dual-coated with titanium dioxide and the polyethylene resin, so the acid resistance, the whiteness and the fireproof performance of the calcium carbonate powder are enhanced, and the integration of the inorganic filler and an organic base is improved to make the inorganic filler meet requirements of wide application.
