titleOfInvention | Composition for predicting the risk of thiopurine-induced leukopenia, the composition comprising a single nucleotide polymorphism marker in the NUDT15 gene |
abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for predicting the risk of thiopurine-induced leukopenia, the composition comprising a single nucleotide polymorphism marker in the NUDT15 gene; the invention relates in particular to: a composition for predicting the risk of thiopurine-induced leukopenia in a crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, leukemia, or organ transplant patient, the composition comprising a single nucleotide polymorphism marker in the NUDT15 gene; a kit for predicting the risk; and methods for predicting the risk. According to the present invention, it is possible to rapidly classify patients highly susceptible to leukopenia occurring during thiopurine therapy in patients with crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, leukemia, or organ transplantation at an early stage, and thus to effectively perform patient-customized therapy. |
