titleOfInvention Method for smelting high-arsenic copper sulfide ore
abstract The invention provides a method for smelting high-arsenic copper sulfide ore. The method includes the following steps that high-arsenic copper sulfide concentrate, quartz sand and a CaO-containing material are mixed, so that a mixed material is obtained; and the mixed material and reactant gas containing oxygen are mixed and heated, the reaction is carried out, and accordingly the copper matte, slag and flue gas containing SO2 can be obtained. By the adoption of the method, the CaO and SiO2 are added in the smelting process, the concentrate material, the CaO and the SiO2 are reacted at a high temperature, arsenic sulfide in the concentrate is oxidized at first and then is subjected to a chemical reaction with a fluxing material CaO, the calcium-based compound of arsenic, ferric arsenate and other modes are generated to enter into the slag phase, and therefore the arsenic content in the copper matte is reduced.
