abstract The invention relates to a graphene/polymer composite material-based high strength damping ring. The above composite material adopts a polymer as a matrix and graphene as a filler. A production method of the damping ring comprises the following steps: 1, pouring the graphene into an alcohol solution in order to prepare a suspension with the mass ratio being 1:10 to 1:50, and preparing a uniform graphene solution in an ultrasonic dispersion machine; 2, adding chloroprene rubber and a plasticizer dicyclohexyl phthalate into a grinding machine, and grinding the chloroprene rubber and the plasticizer for 25-36 h; 3, adding a mixture obtained after grinding into the graphene solution prepared in step 1 to obtain a mixed solution; and 4, mixing the mixed solution obtained in step 3 in a closed rubber mixing machine for 2 min, sequentially adding the plasticizer dicyclohexyl phthalate and an antioxidant RD, mixing above materials at 85-105 DEG C for 2 h, heating the obtained mixture to 185-200 DEG C according to a rate of 10 DEG C/min, stamping the heated mixture to form a sheet, and naturally cooling the sheet. The problem of poor wear resistance of damping rings made by using the chloroprene rubber as a main material is simply and reasonably solved in the invention.
