abstract | The invention discloses a skin-moistening cosmetic composition. The skin moisturizing composition comprises: 0.1% -5% of organic phospholipid; 0.5% -5% of malto-oligosaccharide; 0.5% -10% of volatile siloxane and silicone wax; 0.2 to 2 percent of acrylamide thickening agent. It has been surprisingly found that the compositions of the present invention exhibit an unexpected improvement in moisturizing properties over time and further provide enhanced after-use feel. The improvement in the aforementioned properties is unexpected in view of the nature of each individual component used in the compositions of the present invention. The compositions of the present invention provide a surprising and unexpected synergistic moisturizing effect wherein no significant effect is achieved by either a single use or by less than four combinations of the components. |
