abstract The invention relates to a use of a pesticidal protein, and a method for controlling a myxoma laevigata pest, which comprises the following steps: the Rous armyworm pest is contacted with at least a Cry1A protein. The invention controls the Rous myxoplasma insect pests by generating Cry1A protein capable of killing the Rous myxoplasma in the plant body; compared with the agricultural control method, the chemical control method and the physical control method used in the prior art, the invention protects the whole plant in the whole growth period so as to control the invasion of the Clavicoryza victoriae pests, and has the advantages of no pollution, no residue, stable and thorough effect, simplicity, convenience and economy.
