abstract |
The present invention provides a method for producing an aromatic polymer suitable for producing a separator for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of ensuring high safety. The method for producing an aromatic polymer of the present invention is a method for producing an aromatic polymer having a structure represented by -C(=O)NH-, in which an aromatic diamine and a hydrolyzable hydrolyzable reactant with an amino group are used for the production. The compound of the reactive group is reacted in an organic solvent, wherein the organic solvent contains 200 ppm to 2500 ppm of water, and the intrinsic viscosity of the aromatic polymer is 1.5 dL/g to 3.0 dL/g. |
