Recombinant bacillus subtilis for expressing highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 hemagglutinin HA protein |
abstract |
The invention relates to a recombinant bacillus subtilis (B.S. -HA) for expressing highly pathogenic Avian Influenza (AIV) H5N1 hemagglutinin HA protein, belonging to the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering. The invention successfully constructs a highly pathogenic avian influenza hemagglutinin HA protein recombinant bacillus subtilis expression plasmid pHT43, and successfully transfers the recombinant bacillus subtilis expression plasmid into a bacillus subtilis WB800N strain (B.S) by electric shock. Western-blot verifies that the highly pathogenic avian influenza hemagglutinin HA protein can be successfully expressed in the recombinant bacillus subtilis. Oral immunization stimulates the body of a 10-day-old chick to produce an effective level of AIV-specific immune response. The recombinant bacillus subtilis (B.S. -HA) is expected to be developed into a genetic engineering oral vaccine for preventing highly pathogenic avian influenza. |
