abstract | The invention discloses a synthesis method of amphoteric polyacrylamide serving as a retention and drainage agent and a flocculant. Amides, organic acid and quaternary ammonium salt serve as main monomers, deionized water serves as a solvent, and the amphoteric polyacrylamide with proper molecular weight is polymerized under low-temperature priming of oxidation and reduction initiating agents. The amphoteric polyacrylamide simultaneously has an anionic group and a cationic group, the anionic group and the cationic group can be rapidly adsorbed, bridged and flocculated in the papermaking process, the retention rate of fine matters and fillers is remarkably increased, and drainability of paper in a paper maker screen is accelerated. The amphoteric polyacrylamide can be used for treating papermaking waste water, supernate of the treated waste water is high in light transmittance, a mud cake is low in water content and less in usage, and the amphoteric polyacrylamide becomes one of hit research areas in the world. |
