titleOfInvention Method and device for cooperative uptake of sulfur dioxide by discharge plasmas
abstract The invention provides a method and a device for the cooperative uptake of sulfur dioxide by discharge plasmas and belongs to the technical field of air pollution control and environmental chemical engineering. According to the process of the method, a gas flow introducing device containing SO2 gas is adopted. A plurality of groups of electrode pairs, with alternately arranged positive and negative electrodes (or alternately arranged positive electrodes or alternately arranged negative electrodes), are arranged inside the device. The plurality of groups of electrode pairs are communicated with a high-voltage power supply. The droplets of a sulfuric acid absorption liquid, supplied by an absorption liquid spray thrower, are in contact with the above electrodes, so that the electrodes are instantly conducted to ionize the surrounding gas. Therefore, a gas-liquid contact discharge plasma region composed of high-energy electrons, atoms, radicals and the like is formed. When a gas flow passes through the above discharge plasma region, the SO2 gas in the gas flow is oxidized to form SO3. After that, SO3 is absorbed by the absorption liquid, so as to be removed from the gas flow.
