A preparation method includes the steps: firstly, cooking the dried dates, the millet, the coix seeds, the lotus seeds and the Chinese yam into porridge; secondly, adding the white granulated sugar into the porridge. The porridge has the functions of invigorating spleen and supplementing qi and is applicable to symptoms such as spleen deficiency, poor appetite, indigestion, abdominal distension, loose stool and limb weakness.
