abstract |
Described herein are compositions that include digestive enzymes and are formulated to reduce one or more symptoms of a neuropsychiatric disorder. Also described herein are methods for treating an individual having a neuropsychiatric disorder with digestive enzymes and their derivatives to alleviate symptoms of the neuropsychiatric disorder. The method comprises administering to the individual an effective amount of a digestive enzyme, or derivative thereof, of natural or recombinant origin in an amount effective to reduce one or more symptoms of the neurological disorder. |
