abstract The invention provides an amaranthus tricolor planting method, and relates to the field of crop planting. The amaranthus tricolor planting method comprises the following steps: improving soil, selecting and breeding seeds, sowing and cultivating, applying fertilizer and performing field management, wherein the content of N, P and K in the soil is complemented properly according to the fertile degree of the soil, and the soil is improved by applying active biological fertilizer which is obtained by fermenting powdered rock phosphate, potassium ore powder, urea, an organic material and the like in cooperation with florae; selecting the seeds of the amaranthus tricolor with circular leaves, and soaking the seeds in a solution which contains 0.1 to 0.3 percent of the florae, wherein the seed soaking time is 4 to 6 hours; sowing 3 to 6 kg of the seeds in each mu in a broadcast sowing mode, performing irrigation, sprinkling irrigation or drip irrigation by using irrigation water which is activated by an agricultural energy processor first; mainly applying farmyard manure, and applying the farmyard manure once after the seeds sprout, wherein about 200 to 300 kg of the farmyard manure is applied to each mu; watering properly according to the drought and flood situations; preventing and controlling diseases and insect pests in time. The amaranthus tricolor obtained by the planting method is purely natural, high in quality and high in yield, and is green and pollution-free.
