abstract | The invention provides a contraceptive gel composition which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 0.1-2 parts of octoxynol, 0.01-0.1 part of benzalkonium chloride, 5-30 parts of aloe gel, 5-30 parts of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, 0.01-0.1 part of policresulen, 0.1-2 parts of taraxasterol extract and 40-50 parts of electrolyzed water with the pH value of 4-5. The invention also provides a preparation method of the composition, which comprises the following steps of 1) weighing hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and dissolving the hydroxypropyl methylcellulose in electrolytic water; 2) adding policresulen and taraxasterol extract to obtain solution A; 3) weighing octoxynol and benzalkonium chloride, and dissolving in electrolytic water to obtain solution B; 4) mixing A, B solutions, and adding Aloe gel; 5) stirring and heating at 35-40 deg.C for 30 min, and sterilizing. The invention can effectively control the pregnancy, maintain the normal PH of the vagina and reduce the stimulation to the vagina. |
