abstract | The present invention describes a method of electroplating metal onto a transparent conductive oxide layer. The method comprises the steps of: a) electroplating a seed layer of zinc or zinc oxide directly on the transparent conductive oxide layer, after which, b) electroplating one or more additional metal layers on the zinc layer. The one or more additional metal layers may include a cobalt strike layer electroplated on a seed layer of zinc or zinc oxide and another metal layer, such as copper, electroplated on the cobalt strike layer. |
