abstract |
Powder compositions of polyarylene ether ketone ketones which allow an excellent castability/agglomeration balance suitable for laser sintering. The invention relates to compositions comprising 99.6-99.99% by weight of at least one powder of at least one poly(arylene ether ketone) and 0.01-0.4% by weight of a hydrophilic flow agent. The hydrophilic flow agent is characterized by an increase in mass (amount of water absorbed) of more than 0.5% after conditioning at a relative humidity of 95% for 5 days. The increase in mass of the mobile agent was determined by means of Karl Fischer measurements after desorption of the water by treatment at 170° C. for 5 minutes. The composition is suitable for laser sintering. In particular, it imparts an excellent castability/agglomeration balance to the powder. |
