titleOfInvention Polyolefin microporous membrane and substrate for coating using the same
abstract The present invention provides a microporous membrane which can be preferably used as a substrate for coating which is in great demand in the fields of battery separators, capacitor films, filters, and the like, and can be uniformly coated. A polyolefin microporous membrane characterized in that the relative value of the average value of the peak pore diameter in the TD direction to the standard deviation of the expected value of the pore diameter in the TD direction is less than 24%. Such a polyolefin microporous membrane has a narrow and dense pore diameter distribution in the TD direction, and therefore can significantly suppress coating unevenness and coating wrinkles of a coating material, and thus can be preferably used as a coating substrate.
