abstract The present invention addresses the problem of providing a biaxially oriented polypropylene film which exhibits excellent voltage resistance and reliability at high temperatures in applications to high-voltage capacitors and which has a small temperature dependence of storage elastic modulus suitable for such applications as capacitors. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film is characterized in that the relationship between the storage elastic modulus at 23 ℃ in the film width direction (E '23) and the storage elastic modulus at 125 ℃ in the solid viscoelasticity measurement (E' 125) satisfies the following equation. (E '125)/(E' 23) > 0.2.
