abstract The present invention relates to housefly MSP albumen in the application of antibiosis, belongs to field of biotechnology.Housefly MSP albumen has amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO:1.Bioinformatic analysis is as the result is shown: MSP gene ORF overall length 495bp encodes 164 amino acid, theoretical molecular weight 17.4kDa, isoelectric point 6.09;Entire polypeptide chain shows as hydrophily.In vitro Bactericidal Experiments are as the result is shown, MSP albumen has inhibiting effect to escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and candida albicans bacterium, corresponding MIC value is respectively 0.3mg/ml, 0.2mg/ml and 0.002mg/ml, and dialogue candidiasis shows antibacterial activity outstanding.Housefly MSP albumen is expected to as clinically novel antibiotic.
