abstract | The invention relates to a friction lining (1), in particular for use in a dry friction clutch of a motor vehicle. The friction lining comprises 10 to 20 mass% of glass fibers. More than 90% by mass of the glass fibers are collected in the form of glass fiber bundles having a length of more than 2.5mm and/or less than 4 mm. More than 30% by number of the glass fiber bundles have a width of more than 0.5 mm. The invention also relates to a clutch comprising such a friction lining, and to methods of manufacturing such a lining and such a clutch. |
