| abstract | A preparing method of caryopteris tangutica volatile oil and cough-relieving phlegm-eliminating applications of the volatile oil are disclosed. The method includes cutting caryopteris tangutica whole herb into small segments having a length of 1-2 cm, adding into a homogenizer, adding ethanol the concentration of which is 60-70% and the weight of which is 1-2 times of the weight of the raw material, mixing and homogenizing for 10 min, adding the material after homogenizing into an extraction kettle, extracting for 2-3 h with ethanol accounting for 4% by volume of the total extracting solvent being adopted as an entrainer, the extraction pressure being set to be 20-30 MPa, the extraction temperature being set to be 55-65 DEG C, the separating kettle pressure being set to be 10-20 MPa, the temperature being 20-30 DEG C and the CO2 flux being 20-30 kg/h, and discharging the volatile oil, then the caryopteris tangutica volatile oil is prepared. Pharmacodynamic evaluation proves that the volatile oil has functions of relieving cough and eliminating phlegm and can be used for treating symptoms of cough with excessive phlegm. |
