The premix is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 20-45 parts of astragalus membranaceus polysaccharide iron, 10-20 parts of a vitamin mixture, 5-10 parts of cupric sulphate, 5-10 parts of ferrous sulfate, 5-10 parts of zinc sulfate, 5-10 parts of manganese sulfate, 5-10 parts of potassium iodide, 5-10 parts of haws, 5-10 parts of betaine, 5-10 parts of turmeric, and 1-5 parts of sodium selenite. The invention further relates to the preparation method of the pig premix. The preparation method comprises the processes of extracting and purifying astragalus membranaceus polysaccharide, preparing the astragalus membranaceus polysaccharide iron, mixing materials and the like. The making technology of the pig premix disclosed by the invention is simple, the cost is low, the immunity of organisms can be effectively improved, and the survival rate of piggies can be increased, so that nutrient components of the piggies are balanced and comprehensive, and the pig premix containing the astragalus membranaceus polysaccharide iron is safe and reliable.
