abstract The present invention relates to macrocyclic picolinamides of formula I and their use as fungicides. Fungicides are compounds of natural or synthetic origin used to control plants against damage caused by agriculturally relevant fungi. In general, no single fungicide can be used in all situations. Therefore, research is underway to produce fungicides with better performance, easier application and lower cost. The present application relates to macrocyclic picolinamides and their use as fungicides. The compounds of the present application can provide protection against Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Deuteromycetes, and Oomycetes.
