Photocatalyst Coating Composition |
abstract |
The present invention provides a photocatalyst coating composition that exhibits excellent visibility during construction and can form a homogeneous photocatalyst film of uniform thickness on the surface of a substrate due to good physical properties. Specifically, it is an alkaline photocatalyst coating composition containing photocatalyst particles, a basic dye, a layered silicate, and a dispersant. The basic dye can improve the visibility of the portion coated with the photocatalyst coating composition, thereby realizing easy identification based on the difference in appearance from the uncoated portion. The basic dye loses its color after being applied due to decomposition by sunlight or decomposition by a photocatalyst. The phyllosilicate suppresses time-dependent discoloration of the basic dye and maintains the color tone stably. |
