abstract The present invention relates to a polymer compound providing an organic semiconductor material excellent in conversion efficiency, a raw material compound providing a high degree of freedom in material design, and a method for producing them. The polymer compound of the present invention is characterized by comprising a benzobithiazole structural unit represented by formula (1). [In formula (1), T 1 and T 2 each independently represent a thiophene ring that may be substituted by an alkoxy group, a thioalkoxy group, a hydrocarbon group or an organosilyl group, or a thiophene ring that may be substituted by a hydrocarbon group or an organosilyl group. A thiazole ring, or a phenyl group which may be substituted by a hydrocarbon group, an alkoxy group, a thioalkoxy group, an organosilyl group, a halogen atom or a trifluoromethyl group. In addition, B 1 and B 2 represent a thiophene ring which may be substituted with a hydrocarbon group, a thiazole ring which may be substituted with a hydrocarbon group, or an ethynylene group].
