abstract |
The present invention relates to a heterophasic polypropylene composition comprising: 78-85% by weight of propylene homopolymer or 78-85% by weight of ethylene units up to 2.0% by weight of a copolymer matrix, 15-22% elastomeric ethylene-propylene copolymer and clarifying agent. The composition has a xylene soluble fraction intrinsic viscosity of 0.5-1.5 dl/g at room temperature and a melt flow rate (230° C., 2.16 kg) of 0.5-10 g/10 min. The compositions of the present invention can be used to prepare sheets for thermoforming applications. |
