| abstract |
A patient transport incubator (PTI) suitable for an MRI device having an aperture; the PTI includes an interior volume having a first set of dimensions, the interior volume being altered in shape and size to accommodate a patient or accommodate an MRI-compatible neonate at least a portion of the cradle, the interior volume is also covered by a housing having a second set of dimensions, the housing being altered in shape and size to be temporarily introduced into the aperture; wherein at least a portion of the housing comprises an MRI Safety insulation and noise reduction foam. The present invention will improve the safety and comfort of neonatal MRI scans. |
