The strigolactone can be 5-deoxystrigo alcohol. The method of preparing the plant propagation material may include chemical processes. Alternatively, the method of preparing the plant propagation material may comprise a biosynthetic process. The method can include the use of one or more polynucleotides. The polynucleotide can encode a metabolite. The polynucleotide may comprise one or more genes encoding one or more components of the strigolactone pathway. |
