titleOfInvention Breeding and cultivation method of cold-resistant green-extending sedum aizoon
abstract The invention provides a breeding and cultivation method of cold-resistant green-extending sedum, which comprises the following steps: 1) collecting wild sedum varieties; 2) cutting propagation; 3) in the areas with the lowest temperature of minus 15 to 20 ℃ in winter, the plants are planted in open fields for cold resistance and green-extending screening; 4) selecting the type that the lower part of the old stem in autumn can grow new buds, and the new buds can continue to grow to form a new stem; 5) the new stem in the step 4) can resist low temperature of minus 15-20 ℃, leaves can still keep green in winter, the leaf can safely live through winter, and the growth type can be recovered in early spring, namely the cold-resistant green-extending type variety. Cultivation: (1) cutting and raising seedlings; (2) planting; (3) cultivation management in different stages, wherein pruning is carried out in the late autumn and early winter, and pruning is not needed in the current year of planting; and (4) pruning the plants growing for more than 2 years by taking the height of the new stems as a reference so that only the strong new stems are left in the plants. The invention has the beneficial effects that the bred sedum roseum variety has good cold resistance and can be evergreen in four seasons.
