abstract A method for extracting snake oil at low temperature and removing fishy smell and color of snake oil comprises pulping snake oil, adding 55-85 deg.C hot water into the snake oil slurry, washing for 1-5 times, collecting supernatant to obtain a snake oil stock solution, adding a decolorizing agent, refluxing at 50-80 deg.C for 10-60 min for decolorizing, centrifuging at a speed of 5000-8000r/min for 5-10 min to obtain a first snake oil solution, adding 65-95% ethanol into the first snake oil solution, collecting supernatant, distilling under reduced pressure to obtain a second snake oil solution, adding diethyl ether into the second snake oil solution to obtain a third snake oil solution, distilling under reduced pressure to obtain snake oil, adding a mixed solution of anhydrous diethyl ether and anhydrous ethanol into snake oil, and distilling under reduced pressure to obtain refined snake oil. The snake oil product obtained by the invention has no color substances, retains polyunsaturated fatty acid to a greater extent, effectively avoids the effective cost in the snake oil from being damaged, removes peculiar smell and fishy smell in the snake oil, and makes the snake oil more widely utilized.
