titleOfInvention A method of reducing a bromo sartandiphenyl waste residue
abstract The invention relates to a treating method for a bromo sartandiphenyl waste residue and particularly relates to a method of reducing the bromo sartandiphenyl waste residue. The method is characterized in that the bromo sartandiphenyl waste residue is hydrogenated under the action of a Raney nickel catalyst to obtain sartandiphenyl. The method is advantageous in that (1) the method is simple in reaction steps, easily controllable in reaction, short in production period and prone to industrialization, and (2) the waste residue generated in bromo sartandiphenyl production is reutilized and is low in cost.
