abstract The present invention relates to microorganisms capable of producing L-amino acids and methods of using the same to produce L-amino acids. More specifically, the present invention relates to: Recombinant Escherichia coli (Escherichia coli), which produces L-threonine or L-tryptophan more efficiently by improving the ability to produce ATP, which is in the production of L-threonine or L-tryptophan. L-tryptophan is used as the most abundant energy source in cells; and a method for producing L-threonine or L-tryptophan by using the recombinant Escherichia coli.
