abstract The invention discloses a method for improving the water resistance and flexibility of a polyvinyl alcohol film by means of poly(p-dioxanone) and P(CPP-SA)-polyvinylpyrrolidone. The method comprises the steps of 1, synthesizing a polyvinyl alcohol-poly(p-dioxanone) grafted copolymer, wherein carboxyl end capped poly(p-dioxanone) mono-dodecyl ether, a solvent, a condensing agent and polyvinyl alcohol are added into a drying reactor for stirring reaction lasting 2-4 days at 27-33 DEG C, and filtration, dialysis and drying are conducted after reaction is stopped so as to obtain a target object; 2, preparing the polyvinyl alcohol film modified by poly(p-dioxanone) and P(CPP-SA)-polyvinylpyrrolidone, wherein the polyvinyl alcohol-poly(p-dioxanone) grafted copolymer, P(CPP-SA)-polyvinylpyrrolidone and a solvenet are added into the drying reactor for stirring mixing lasting 50-60 min at 45-55 DEG C, and then film formation is conducted with the tape casting method and drying is conducted to obtain the target product. The preparing process is simple and easy to grasp, and the water resistance and flexibility of the modified film are improved greatly.
