The invention relates to a preparation method and application of a biochar-supported TiO 2 composite material. The composite material uses biochar as a matrix, and the surface of the matrix supports calcined TiO 2 . The specific steps of preparation are as follows: the sequence of preparation is to first immerse the biomass powder into tetra-n-butyl titanate and absolute ethanol aqueous solution, then prepare the gel containing biomass, and finally pass through the tube atmosphere furnace under N2 atmosphere The product is obtained by pyrolysis of the gel. In the preparation process of the biochar-loaded TiO2 composite material of the present invention, the pyrolysis of biomass and the roasting of TiO2 are carried out in the same heat treatment process, which reduces the preparation cost and time.
