titleOfInvention Rice anther specific expression promoter OsAnth3 and application thereof
abstract The invention provides a rice anther specific expression promoter OsAnth3 and application thereof. The invention also provides an expression cassette containing the promoter, a recombinant expression vector and a method for obtaining corresponding host bacteria and transformants by using the expression cassette and the recombinant expression vector. The dyeing experiment proves that the rice anther specific expression promoter OsAnth3 can drive the target gene to express strongly in the rice anther, and other parts hardly express any expression, so that the promoter has strong tissue specificity. The growth characteristics of the anther part can be changed with the minimum metabolic burden by applying the transgenic variety to the cultivation of the transgenic variety, and the transgenic variety has obvious potential social and economic values. The promoter is applied to plant genetic engineering to drive a target gene to be specifically expressed in the anther of a crop, and the promoter is used in cooperation with a gene with the function of inhibiting or interfering the growth of the anther to interfere the growth and development of the anther of the crop for the research of cross breeding; blocking gene drift and preventing and controlling ecological risks possibly caused by transgenic crops.
