abstract The invention discloses a grouting system and method suitable for a shield tunnel underwater karst stratum. The system comprises a plastic outer pipe installed in a working hole, and a grouting pipe sleeved with the plastic outer pipe. The end, located at the bottom of the working hole, of the plastic outer pipe is closed. A plurality of grouting hole sets axially distributed at intervals are formed in the plastic outer pipe. A flow direction control assembly is arranged at the portion, corresponding to each grouting hole set, of the plastic outer pipe. A sealing assembly for closing the gap between the grouting pipe and the plastic outer pipe is arranged on the grouting pipe. The outlet end of the grouting pipe is located between the sealing assembly and the closed end of the plastic outer pipe. The inlet end of the grouting pipe is connected with a grouting device. The system is simple in structure and easy to manufacture and install. The method includes the steps of drilling the working hole, installing the plastic outer pipe and the grouting pipe with the sealing assembly, grouting sleeve shell materials, and grouting paste slurry through a segmented grouting method. The method is easy to control, not prone to repeated separation, free of invalid grouting, and capable of improving construction efficiency, saving cost and easily achieving the engineering design anti-seepage standard.
