titleOfInvention Process for synthesizing Levobetaxolol hydrochloride
abstract The invention discloses a process for synthesizing Levobetaxolol hydrochloride. The high-antimer pure Levobetaxolol and a hydrochloride thereof are prepared from p-hydroxyphenylethyl alcohol as a starting raw material by reactions such as benzyl protection, alkylation, deprotection, alkylation and amination salt forming under certain conditions. Compared with the prior art, the process disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the process is simple, the raw materials are readily available and are low in toxicity, the operation is safe, simple and convenient, the pollution is light, the yield is high, and the cycle is short.
