abstract Progesterone antagonists for the treatment of endometriosis, uterine fibroids, dysmenorrhea, breast cancer, such as CDB-4124. The present invention relates to methods of treating estrogen dependence using compositions comprising progesterone receptor antagonists. The invention also relates to methods of treating pain associated with endometriosis. The compositions are useful for treating endometriosis in women and for estrogen and/or selective estrogen receptor effector (SERM) therapy in women. In specific embodiments, the present invention provides methods of inhibiting endometrial proliferation.
