abstract The invention provides application of SFRP2 to promotion of odontogenic mesenchymal stem cell osteogenic/odontoblastic differentiation, and further provides application of SFRP2 to preparation of drugs for promoting regeneration of odontogenic mesenchymal stem cell-mediated tissues. Researches on the mechanism of WNT signal regulatory factor SFRP2 for regulating mesenchymal stem cell directional differentiation find that SFRP2 has an effect of promoting stem cell odontogenetic/osteogenic differentiation, and further illustrate possible mechanisms of SFRP2, which provides important clues for researches on the molecular regulation mechanism of growth and developmental time-space specificity for teeth and bones and reconstruction of seed cells for biological overall tooth regeneration.
